On 24 August, in the Sacred Valley of Peru, I am holding a full day with the oldest plant of the Americas and my beloved teacher – Maestro Tobacco.
The Sacred Tobacco & The Pipe Initiation is a sacred workshop on tobacco as history, medicine, and ceremony. Not tobacco as we’ve been taught to fear it. Tobacco as it was known for 8,000 years: a carrier of prayer, a cleanser of spaces, a grandfather plant, a guide.
We travel together through the wisdom of three great traditions — Andean, Amazonian, and North American. We meet the mapacho. We learn to from him, how to remember, how to center, how to cleanse, to ground, to pray, to offer. We close the day with the pipe initiation ceremony — where you are formally introduced to the spirit of this plant and the basic usage of the pipe.
This is for you if something in you has been quietly turning toward this plant. If you sit with clients and want a real tool to hold space with, before after or during your sessions. If you feel the sacred and want a way to touch it that stays.
No experience needed. Only sincerity.
